Since 2019 the Private Foundation for the Protection of the Journalist Profession  (SBBJ) has been campaigning for better professional conditions for journalists,who after all play a crucial role in informing society in a relevant, independent and reliable way about so many themes as : politics, economy, justice, sports, arts and culture, lifestyle and more.

The purpose of the Foundation is the protection and strengthening of the journalistic profession by paying attention to training,  ethics and working conditions.  It wants to work on studies, publications, seminars, workshop events such as awarding a scientific prize and other ways of assistance.  This for both officially recognized Belgian journalists and for those who practice the profession as a second occupation.

Crowdfunding will be organized to support the operation.
